About APSI & OPINIONS

APSI is an online, fully searchable database of pharmaceutical products and their prices for each of the maritime provinces. It is available to anybody for a yearly fee.

The Online Product Identification Number Index System for Nova Scotia (OPINIONS) is a system very similar to APSI but for non-drug products, and instead of a DIN (Drug identification Number), it uses a unique PIN. OPINIONS is the only database of it's kind in Canada, and any company can buy PINS and submit products to the OPINIONS database.
